Case History: OnBrand24 Upsells for PürMEDICA Nutritional Science

July 23, 2014 - PürMEDICA Nutritional Science, Chicago, produces a line of nutraceutical products combining the wisdom of nature with the power of science by integrating the advantages of both orthodox and alternative medicine.  PürMEDICA’s mission: to enhance their clients’ physical well-being by offering superior natural supplements that are both safe and highly effective.

OnBrand24 has conducted customer service and order processing support services for PürMEDICA since June 2013. From the outset, OnBrand24 was assigned the responsibility of encouraging PürMEDICA customers to upgrade from placing single orders to becoming “auto-ship” customers, whose product orders are automatically renewed and shipped each month.

According to Cameron LiButti, Vice President, OnBrand24 made an immediate impact on PürMEDICA.  
“In the first three months, OnBrand24 increased our auto-shipments by 30 percent. This had an immediate positive impact on our revenue and bottom line. With auto-ships, it’s revenue we can count on without added incremental costs. The former call center we had been using could not meet our upselling objectives, but OnBrand24 has.  Since that initial pop, OnBrand24 has continued to increase the base of auto-ship customers by 5 percent each month, sometimes more.”

Upselling customers from single orders to auto-ship amounts to at least a 225 percent revenue improvement in the lifetime value of the customer to PürMEDICA.

“Overall, we’ve increased auto-ships by more than 100 percent since we began working with OnBrand24,” LiButti said. “They’ve done a great job for us.”
