Sept. 16, 2014 - It was a year ago today that OnBrand24 opened a new call center services facility in Savannah, Georgia.
This was the company's second office, accompanying OnBrand24’s headquarters in Beverly, Massachusetts, where the company has been since 1981. Since the opening in Savannah, OnBrand24 also opened a third office in Portsmouth, New Hampshire.
The two new offices demonstrate the rapid growth OnBrand24 has sustained in recent years, underscored by the company being named two years in a row to the Inc. 5000 list of the fastest growing privately held companies in the United States. We also have been cited two straight years by TopTenREVIEWS (Gold and Silver medals), an independent business products and services review organization, for call center services excellence.
When our Savannah office opened a year ago, it had seven customer service representatives. Today, the office has 50 employees, including agents and operations and information technology managers.
There are several advantages to having an office in Savannah. It provides site redundancy for our Massachusetts operation, so if the Beverly facility is hit by a blizzard that prevents some employees from getting to work we can continue to serve clients from Savannah.
It also provides companies based in the South with regional support, particularly those that want customer service representatives with a regional accent. Its proximity also enables them to visit and meet with their teams of account managers and agents and observe their work.
OnBrand24’s Savannah clients are diversified across the retail / ecommerce, healthcare, high technology, manufacturing, food and beverage and business services verticals.
Last year's office opening drew coverage from several local media outlets, including the Savannah Morning News.
